그런즉 너희는 하나님께 복종할 지어다 마귀를 대적하라 그리하면 너희를 피하리라(약 4:7)
하나님께 복종한다는 것은 지존자의 그늘 아래 들어가 그와 가까이하는 것이다. 그렇게 할 때 마귀와 흑암의 세력은 스스로 물러가게 된다.그것은 하나님께 대한 절대적인 신뢰를 드리는 것을 의미하며, 하나님은 날마다 이어지는 영적 전쟁 가운데 우리의 가장 안전한 오른팔이 되어주신다. 우리에게 두려움이란 사탄이 가장 좋아하는 통로이니, 오직 성육신이신 그리스도의 이름으로 마귀를 대적하라. 그리스도 안에 있으면 우리는 해방이라는 자유를 누릴 수 있다. 아무도 나를 정죄하지 않는 그 복음의 자유를 마음껏 누리도록 하라.
[The Meditation: Whisper] Submit to God and Resist the Devil
“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”
James 4:7 (KJV)
To submit to God is to come under the shelter of the Most High and draw near to Him. As we remain close to God, the powers of darkness lose their ground and must retreat.
Submission also means placing our complete trust in God. In the spiritual battles we face each day, He is our refuge, our strength, and our sure defense.
Fear can become one of the enemy’s most effective footholds. So do not surrender to fear. Stand firm and resist the devil in the name of Jesus Christ, God incarnate.
In Christ, we have been set free. We no longer have to live under the bondage of sin, death, or condemnation. The gospel declares a freedom that no accusation can take away.
Live fully in that freedom today—the freedom of the gospel, where there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
