Gyeongin Presbytery has issued an urgent request for intercessory prayer for the health and recovery of its presbytery leader, Rev. Kim Eung-sik.
On July 23, a card bearing the title “Urgent Request for Intercessory Prayer” was shared in a private group chat community. The prayer request was issued under the names of the Vice Presbytery Leader and the Director of Evangelism of Gyeongin Presbytery.
The card stated, “Rev. Kim Eung-sik, the Presbytery Leader of Gyeongin Presbytery, has been diagnosed with cancer that has progressed to some extent. Since life is in God’s hands, we earnestly ask senior and junior pastors and fellow ministers across the nation and around the world to pray for him.”
It also added, “For the patient’s stability, we kindly ask that you refrain from making phone calls.” The request asked for consideration so that Rev. Kim could focus on his treatment and recovery.
